HENDERSONVILLE/WEAVERVILLE – Harold Redman “Roonie” Young, age 88 of Hendersonville and formerly of Weaverville, died peacefully at his home in Fletcher Park Inn, Sunday, September 3, 2017.

Celebrating the life of Harold Redman "Roonie" Young
Thank you for signing Harold Redman "Roonie" Young's Guestbook
Daddy, you are an example for all of a man who lived his life caring more for others than himself. You always treated everyone with warmth and kindness and I am very proud to have been your little girl for all these years. I will treasure the beautiful memories you leave behind for as long as I live.

Dear Aunt Dot, Fern, Debbie, Pam and Matthew,
I am so very saddened to learn of Uncle Harold's passing.
He always told me that I helped him pass the exams to get into the Post Office! :) I tutored him in Math!! He was a kind and gentle man. May God give you His peace and comfort as you grieve.
I enjoyed seeing him and Aunt Dot at the Young Reunions, however,
I will miss seeing you and other cousins at the Reunion next week as I can't travel at this time.
