Obituary
WEAVERVILLE– Linda Faye Fisher, age 70, of Weaverville, went to be with Jesus, February 3, 2018.
Linda Faye was born May 5, 1947, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She spent her entire career working in Government Services and retired from the VA Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Ruby Bailey White, and brother, Troy White.
Surviving are sisters, Deborah Tomberlin and husband Terry, Wilma Evans, Lorraine Lewis, and Louise Hunter; special aunt, Faye Williams; special friend, Betsy Candler; numerous nieces, nephews and friends at Jupiter Baptist Church.
Her graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville. Hospice Chaplin Kelly Belcher will officiate.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Brian Center and CarePartners Hospice.

Faye and I were in school together at North Bunconbe High. I remember Faye as a very sweet and beautiful young lady. So sad to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathy in your time of loss.
