Mrs.Rector was my Home Economics teacher in 84,
She was my Favorite teacher of all time. She always took the time to explain things and never made you feel like you didn’t matter to her.
The first time I ever sewed anything in her class was a shirt, that she bought me the material for because I didn’t have the money to buy any. Then after I sewed it wrong , of course.. I sewed the bottom of the shirt to the arm, but she never told me I was wrong, she only showed me how to correct it. I will never forget her. Heaven has gained a True Angel

Mrs. Rector was one of my very favorite teachers at North Buncombe when I attended in 1976 and 1980. She was my Home Ec teacher and I loved her. She was always so sweet and kind to everyone. I moved 3 times during my high school years but she made it easier to fit in when I felt very awkward.
