Andrew Philip Straight

ASHEVILLE– Andrew Philip Straight, age 44, of Homewood Drive, died Saturday, January 2, 2021.

Andrew was born April 3, 1976 in Erie County, Ohio; he was a resident of Buncombe County for the last two and half years.  He loved camping and taking care of his fur babies, Dot and Peppermint.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Straight.

Surviving are his wife of six years, Carolina King Straight; his parents William and Shirley Chavis Straight; in-laws Richard and Polly King and brother, Michael Straight.

A private funeral service will be held in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Rev. Joe Steadman will officiate. Burial will follow in Sky View Memorial Park, Asheville.

Per the N. C. Governor, masks are required.
