Anita Clay Dover

ANITA CLAY DOVER WEAVERVILLE – Anita Clay Dover, age 57, of Park Meadow Lane died Sunday, January 1, 2017. Mrs. Dover was born October 21, 1959 in Ventura, CA and was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 20 years. Anita was a former truck driver and had been a waitress at the Waffle House in Weaverville for a number of years. She was a member of Davis Chapel in Marshall. She was the daughter of the late Waymond Gerald Clay and Evelyn Louise Ramsey Clay. Surviving are her husband of 17 years, Michael Dover; daughters, Cassidy Wilson, Charity Wilson; step children, Brittany Dover, Samantha Lodgek, Emily Dover, Michael Dover; brother, Jerry Clay and wife Maria; 5 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren with one on the way; and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
