Anna Lee Franklin Eller

WEAVERVILLE—Anna Lee Eller, age 88, formerly of Clark's Chapel Extension, died Sunday, March 15, 2009. Mrs. Eller was born June 23, 1920, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was a graduate of Flat Creek High School and retired from Square D in 1984. Mrs. Eller was a lifelong member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. Her parents, James Lee and Julia Duck Franklin, as well as her husband, John A. Eller who died in 2001, and her brothers, Stanley Ben and Ray Franklin, preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Jim Eller and wife Anita of Candler, and John Eller and wife Blanche of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Stephanie; and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville, with Rev. Barry Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at West Funeral Home.
