ANNIE BRIGMAN GADDY BARNARDSVILLE - Annie Brigman Gaddy, age 98, of North Fork Road, died Friday, December 13, 2013. Mrs. Gaddy was born September 30, 1915, in Buncombe County to the late Grover and Nancy Jenkins Brigman. She was a member of Pisgah Forest Freewill Baptist Church. Annie was the wife of the late William B. Gaddy who died in 1997. Surviving are her daughter, Mildred B. Gaddy of Barnardsville; sisters, Betty McKinney of Barnardsville, and Peggy Stuart of Swannanoa; brother, Bobby Brigman and wife Editha of Vidalia, GA; granddaughters, Gail Segna, Lisa Stephenson, and Jill Mathis; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Dean Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Flowers are welcome.
