Annie Pauline Brandon Lawing

MARS HILL – Annie Pauline Brandon Lawing, age 100, of Mars Hill, died Friday, November 11, 2022.

Annie was formerly of Cramerton, NC and Farmington Hills, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late W. L. Brandon and Annie Lou Pennell Brandon; she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Lawing, Sr. and her sister, Kathrine B. Brown.

Pauline was a member of Asheville Drove #140 BPO Does. She retired from Farmington Schools and was a member of Orchard United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pauline attended First Baptist Church of Weaverville and was a member of Preceptor Alpha Iota Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.   

Surviving are her sons, Jack S. Lawing Jr. and wife Linda of Loudon, Tennessee; M.A. Lawing and wife Reverend Cheryl Larson Lawing of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Steven L. Lawing of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Major Rhett B. Lawing and wife Stephanie, Adam P. Lawing and wife Carin, Abigail Winston and husband Mark, Emily Lawing, Aaron and Catherine Lawing; great grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Bridgette, Rhys, Kaiya, Lily and Colin.   

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Mt. Holly, North Carolina at Hillcrest Gardens under the direction of Woodlawn Funeral Home.
