ANNIE REBECCA NOAH WOODFIN – Annie Rebecca Noah, age 70, of Woodfin, went home to her heavenly reward on December 29, 2016. She passed away peacefully and painlessly at Mission Hospital where she had recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Ms. Noah was born January 2, 1946 in Buncombe County to the late Fred and Josephine Banks Hollifield. Annie was a devoted and loving mother, and a member of Jonestown Freewill Baptist Church. God has another new angel singing in his choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert King. Surviving are her two remaining children, Phillip King and Rebecca Marlowe; and her sister, Frances Wilson. The family would like to thank everyone at Mission Hospital for helping to make her final weeks so pleasant, particularly the nurses on the renal floor. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2017, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Bo Bullman officiating. Burial will be in Long’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
