APRIL ANDERSON WALTER FLETCHER – April Anderson Walter, age 45, of Fletcher died October 10, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace Center. Mrs. Walter was born April 4, 1971 in Buncombe County where she had lived most of her life. She was a graduate of T.C. Roberson High School, and a Sr. Financial Services Officer for State Employees Credit Union. April was an avid cyclist. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Marvin Anderson. Surviving are her husband of 4 years, Matthew Walter; step daughter, Emma Grace Walter; mother, Kay Davis and husband Jim; sister, Tami Hogan; niece, Sydney Hogan; nephew, Myles Lance; her adoring dog, Dewey; along with numerous other loving family members and friends. A private celebration of life will be held by her family. The family asks that in April’s memory you perform random acts of kindness. West Funeral Home, Weaverville is assisting the family.
