WEAVERVILLE—Barbara Robinson Fox, age 76, of Upper Flat Creek Rd., died Friday, August 24, 2012. Mrs. Fox was born August 22, 1936, in Buncombe County. Barbara was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Vonnie Harron Robinson; and husband, J. B. Fox who died in 2008. Surviving are her daughters, Audrey Cox and husband Blaine of Candler and Karen Hart McMinn and husband Bob of Weaverville; three grandchildren, Kelly Cox, Jon Cox and Lauren Hart; great grandson, Eli Cox; brothers, Maurice Robinson and his wife Judy and Gordon Robinson both of Weaverville; and her dear friend Preston Edwards, whom the family would like to thank for filling her life with so much joy and happiness. Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Phillip Parker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
