WEAVERVILLE - Barbara Lorraine Gentry Morris, age 78, of 30 Garrison Road died Sunday, May 3, 2015. Mrs. Morris was born June 16, 1936 in Buncombe County where she lived all of her life to the late Herman and Fannie Corn Gentry. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Jim Morris; daughter, Susan O'Neil and husband Dexter; son, Steve Morris and wife Cheryl; sister, Mary Justice and husband Ralph; brothers, Charles Gentry and wife Trudy, Roger Gentry and wife Judy; grandchildren Lauryn Valderrama and husband Fernando, Ethan Morris; great granddaughter, Penelope Lucille Valderrama, who will be born in July, 2015 and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend George Hutchins officiating.
