Beatrice Rosch King

Beatrice Rosch King, age 95, of Weaverville passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. Beatrice was born March 31, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Arthur Rosch and Louise Jurgens.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph P. King in 2013; and brother, Billy Rosch.  She was a resident of Connecticut and New Jersey before moving to Weaverville, where she had resided for 31 years. 

Beatrice was a loving wife to her husband Joseph and devoted Mother to her three children Paul, David and Nancy.  She took great pride in her home and was an avid gardener.  She was very successful as an employee at Duracell Corporation where she attained the position of Executive Assistant to the President of the company.  She also took great pleasure in the family’s pet cats who she loved and cared for throughout the years.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy King of Weaverville, Paul D. King of Weaverville and David King of New Milford, CT; sister, Anita Smith of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Ryan Comer and Lindsey King; and nieces and nephews from Texas to New York. 

Her memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Michelle Smith officiating.
