Betty Jo Brenner

ST. HELENA ISLAND, S.C.—Betty Jo Brenner of St. Helena Island, S.C., passed away September 19, 2012, with her family by her side. Betty was a gentle, kind lady with a smile for everyone. She retired from Boeing Co., Cocoa, Fla., as a financial manager of 20 years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Edith Cole; and her husband, Arnold Brenner. Surviving are her brothers, Leonard Cole and wife Martha, Sam Cole and wife Jean of Asheville, N.C.; step-children, Nancy Brenner of Indialantic, Fla., Martin Brenner and wife Donna, James Brenner and wife Karen, both of Titusville, Fla., Jackie B. Shanley and husband Mark of Gravesend, England; step-granddaughter, Vanessa Brenner; nephews and nieces; and her much loved dog, "Butch." Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012, at West Memorial Park. Officiating the service will be Rev. Leonard Cole and Richard Cole, nephew. Flowers are welcome.
