Betty Catherine Buckner Dillingham

JACKSONVILLE, FL./WEAVERVILLE– Betty Catherine Buckner Dillingham, age 79, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Weaverville died Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Mrs. Dillingham was born June 16, 1939 in Buncombe County to the late, Issac and Stella Miller Buckner; she was a resident of Jacksonville since 1957. Betty retired after 27 years as a bookkeeper for Kmart and enjoyed feeding her raccoons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Dillingham who died in 1994 and her son, Michael Dillingham. Surviving are her grandchildren, Lauren Dillingham, Faith Owens and Brooke Mortenson; and great grandchildren, Andrew, Morgan, Brady, Emma and Annilee. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 in West Memorial Park, Weaverville.
