Betty Ellen Ricker

Betty Ellen Ricker, age 70, of Weaverville, died Friday, October 20, 2017. Mrs. Ricker was born April 25, 1947 in Sullivan County NY and was a resident of Buncombe County for 27 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Frances Smith Austin. Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Tim Ricker; daughter, Shelly Taylor and husband Russell; son Todd Chiddister and wife Marni; sister, Susan Cadogan; brother, Mike Austin and grandchildren, Kate and Daniel Chiddister. A private service was held. West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
