Bill Burleson

BARNARDSVILLE/ CONCORD—Bill Burleson, age 74, formerly of Barnardsville, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Bill was the son of the late Talmadge and Lillie Thomason Burleson. He was also preceded in death by his son, William T. Burleson. Surviving is his wife, Diane B. Burleson; daughters, Lillie Robinson and husband Tim and Sheila Safrit and husband Jacob; son, Roger Dale Burleson; sisters, Connie Butler and Teresa Harrington; brother, Jesse Burleson: nineteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 in Greenwood Cemetery, Barnardsville with the Rev. Nelson Ponder officiating.
