Weaverville—Billy Clay "Blackie" Cole, Jr., age 62, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007. He was a son of Ruby Cole and the late Bill Cole. Surviving is his son, Danny Cole; sisters, Regina Harmon and Susan Ledford. Services will be private.
