Bobby Joe Allen

FAIRVIEW – Bobby Joe Allen, age 82, of Fairview passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Allen was born on October 9, 1942, to the late Herbert and Eva Henderson Allen. He lived the first 40 years of his life in Buncombe County. He then lived in Santa Rosa, California for 30 years before coming back to Buncombe County again for the past 10 years. He was a general contractor and served in the United States Navy. He loved hunting, being outdoors, and hot rod cars. The Elks Lodge was a favorite place to spend time and visit with close friends.

Surviving are his children, Diana Leigh Killmon and husband J.B. of Tennessee and Joe Allen and wife Danielle of California; their mother, Judy Allen; grandchildren, Riley, Brayden, Colton, and Wyatt; and his cat, Ms. Kitty.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
