Bobby Pike

WEAVERVILLE—Bobby Pike, age 61, of 68 Deerborne Lane, died Thursday, January 17, 2013. Bobby was born November 25, 1951, in Buncombe County to the late James Lloyd Pike, Jr., and Betty Benefield Pike. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed fishing with his father and brothers. Bobby attended Shepherd's Fold House of Worship. Surviving are his sister, Katie Pike; brothers, Danny Pike and wife Brenda, Tommy Pike and wife Susan, all of Weaverville, and Ricky Pike and wife Christy of Alexander and several nieces and nephews. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 in Flint Hill Cemetery, Alexander, with Rev. Donald Whitson officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home of Danny and Brenda Pike, 30 McCurry Rd., Weaverville, NC 28787.
