Bonnie Emma Lee Wyatt Edwards

LANDRUM, S.C.—Bonnie Emma Lee Wyatt Edwards, age 71, of Landrum, S.C. died Thursday, November 8, 2007. Mrs. Edwards was born in Buncombe County and was a resident of Landrum, S.C. since 1994. She retired in 1994 from Great Lakes National Steel in Detroit, Mich. Her parents, Fred C. and Pauline Dodd Wyatt as well as her husband, W. Mack Edwards who died in January 2007 her daughter, Susan Edwards and son, David Mack Edwards, preceded her in death. Surviving are her three daughters, Cathy Edwards, Barbara Taylor and Rebecca Mayer; son, Alan Edwards; sister, Billie Maxine Schalow of Weaverville; brothers, Charles D. Wyatt of Asheville and Roy "Kenneth" Wyatt of Weaverville; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with the Reverend Eugene Dodd officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
