Carole Sue Cooper

CAROLE SUE COOPER (NOSWORTHY) WOODFIN - Carole Sue Cooper (Nosworthy) passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Asheville. She was surrounded by her children with love and comfort. Carole was born in Romulus, MI on January 16, 1949. There she married and was a homemaker for many years. She then pursued a nursing degree at Madonna College. She moved to North Carolina several years ago to retire peacefully in the mountains. Carole loved her family and the Lord. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, playing cards and games, crocheting, and caring for her pets. Much of her time was spent working on her family tree and enjoyed genealogy. Surviving are her four children, Russell and wife Kelly, Melissa, Scott, Serena and husband Rich; ten grandchildren, Carole, Nicholas, Derek, Sarah, Chad, Aubrey, Brianna, Zachary, Joshua, and Jonathan; two great granddaughters, Keira and Chloe; sisters, Dorothy and husband Edward, Marjorie, Freeda and husband Charles; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, James and Joie, Carole was also preceded in death by her siblings, Argalee, James, and Louie. Private services will be held. West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
