Carolina Brea Franks

Weaverville – Carolina Brea Franks, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Brea is preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Polly.

She is survived by her maternal grandmother, Ernestine Franks; her birth mother, Misty Franks; a half sister, Chelsea Polly; a half brother, Jake Polly; her best friend and “sister”, Katie Collins; a special childhood friend, Betty Myer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins all from Kentucky; Brea is also survived by her fiancé, Michael King and the entire King family of Weaverville.

Brea loved life and was a very cheerful and happy person. Everyone enjoyed being around her. She was a bright light in the lives of many. Brea was loved by those who were blessed to know her and will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 22, 2024 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville. Rev. Phillip Parker and Rev. Michael King will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery, Weaverville.
