CAROLYN TOWNSEND ROSE ASHEVILLE- Carolyn Townsend Rose, age 87, of Asheville died Friday, March 7, 2014. Mrs. Rose was born September 6, 1926 in Buie, NC. She was wife of the late Larry M. Rose. Surviving are her daughter, Laurie Rose Moser and husband Roger of Asheville; sons, Richard Townsend Rose and wife Lyn of New Haven, CT, and Steven Kendall Rose and wife Suzanne of Salisbury, NC; brother, John Townsend of Buie, NC ; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
