Carolyn Williams Strickland

WOODFIN - Carolyn Williams Strickland, 62, of Woodfin, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Ms. Strickland was born May 22, 1962, to the late Bill and Wanda Williams. She was a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, an avid Tar Heel fan, and school cafeteria mom. Carolyn was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Billy R. Williams, Jr.

Surviving is her daughter, Lilly Kolseth (Isaac); sister, Patty Robinson (Allen); nephews, Chris and Michael Robinson; and countless “adopted” children.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 754 Aiken Rd., Asheville on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 5:00 pm with the Rev. Keith Watkins officiating. All who loved her are welcome. Wear your Tar Heel gear if you’ve got it.
