Carrie Rubena Allen Frizsell

FAIRVIEW—Carrie Rubena Allen Frizsell, age 78 of Fairview died Friday, October 12, 2012. Carrie Rubena was born May 1, 1934 in Buncombe County where she lived most of her life. Her parents, Carmen and Elda Haynes Allen; son, Michael Allen Frizsell, who died at birth; sister, Clara Peeler and brother, Thurman Allen all preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter, Vicky Moore of Weaverville; son, Rick Frizsell and wife Dena of Fairview; grandson, Tanner Frizsell also of Fairview; sisters, Florence Owenby and Lelia McAbee both of Arden and Ozella Warner of Asheville; brother, Bernard Allen of Spartanburg, SC and several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Clark's Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Donna Shook, a close friend of the family, officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Clark's Chapel United Methodist Church, 25 Clark's Chapel Church Rd., Weaverville prior to the graveside.
