Carroll Biggs

Carroll Biggs, age 88 of Weaverville, died Friday, September 15, 2023.

Carroll was born November 16, 1934, in Buncombe County to the late James Dewey & Eliza Jane Hyder Biggs. He was a member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Junior Biggs, Charles Edward Biggs, and William Arthur “Bill” Biggs.

Surviving are his nephews, Larry Biggs and wife Kathy and Clarence Biggs and wife Gail; and sister-in-law, Sandra Biggs.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 18, 2023, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
