Catherine M. Bradley, age 91, of Weaverville, passed away at her home Friday, May 31, 2013. Mrs. Bradley was born June 5, 1921, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late James G. and Margaret Revis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Stokes" Bradley who passed away in January 1995, grandson, Bobby Gregg; great grandson, Stuart Hall; five brothers and four sisters. Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She enjoyed going to church at Browns Chapel Baptist Church where she was a member. For many years she taught Sunday School and Bible School. Catherine is survived by her five children; sons, David Bradley and wife Pat, and Larry Bradley and wife Joy all of Weaverville; daughters, Martha Morgan and husband Frank of Marshall, Sue Blevins of Weaverville, Doris Capps and husband Dennis of Mars Hill; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 in Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, Weaverville, with Rev. Philip Wilson and Rev. DeLain Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in Maney Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville. At other times, the family will be at the residence of 53 Church Street, Weaverville, NC 28787. Flowers are welcome or memorials made be made to Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O.
