CECIL EUGENE CARTER ASHEVILLE – Cecil Eugene Carter, age 78, of Asheville, died Saturday, July 1, 2017. Mr. Carter was born September 16, 1938, in Davidson County, TN and was a resident of Pennsylvania for most of his life. For the last 5 years, he made Asheville his home. He worked for Lone Star Cement Company for 30 years and was a very generous and caring person. Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents; James Earl and Annie Allen Carter, brother; Jim Carter and sister; Sara Malone. Surviving are his sons, Tom Carter and Bryan Carter; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A private service will be held by the family.
