Christopher Ramsey

BARNARDSVILLE – Christopher Allen “Chris” Ramsey, age 42 of 36 Riverside Drive, died Monday, January 2, 2017. Chris was born December 20, 1974 in Buncombe County to Novile Ramsey and Diane Metcalf Ramsey. He was employed at Jennings Building Supply. Chris enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He attended Summit Church in Mars Hill and was everybody’s best friend. Chris loved his family and was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father. He was God’s gift to his wife. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Shelley Morris Ramsey; daughters, Rachel Renee Ramsey and Addison Leigh Ramsey; sons, William Zachary Morrow and Jackson Augustus Morrow and sister, Melinda Ramsey. His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Ponder and Rev. Jeremy Emory officiating. Burial will be in Clark’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the funeral.
