CYNTHIA McKIN GALARZA WEAVERVILLE - Cynthia McKin Galarza, age 63, of 15 Ox Creek Road died Saturday, September 28, 2013. Mrs. Galarza was born June 15, 1950, in Buncombe County where she had lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Burnette McKin and was preceded in death by her sister Darlene Elliott. Surviving are her daughters, Missie Marlowe and husband Scott of Leicester, Jenice Gutierrez of Weaverville, and Sonja Buckner and husband Matthew of Weaverville; sister, Frankie McKin of Alexander; brother-in-law, Donnie Elliott and his daughter April Honeycutt and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Colton and Kendal Marlowe, Megan Schooler, Noah McKin, Justin Carrillo, Chelsea, Kaitlyn and Chloe Buckner. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Keith Watkins officiating.
