Dale Burrell Duyck

BARNARDSVILLE– Flora Dale Burrell Duyck, age 90, of Barnardsville died Saturday, July 28, 2018. Mrs. Duyck was born October 1, 1927 in Buncombe County to the late John Nelson Burrell and May Belle Ingle Burrell; she was a resident of Barnardsville all of her life. She was a full time homemaker and formerly worked at Hadley’s of Weaverville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Eugene Duyck who died in 2015; son, Grady Duyck; sisters, Gladys and Atlas Mundy; brothers, Ralph, Eldridge and William “Burnas” Burrell. Surviving are her son, Lamar Duyck and wife Joyce of Weaverville; daughter-in-law, Jean Duyck of Barnardsville; grandchildren, Scotty Duyck and wife Katya of Randleman, Mickey Duyck and wife Ellen of Alaska and Travis Duyck and wife Tracy of Swannanoa and four great grandchildren. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 in West Memorial Park. Reverends David Crowder and Larry Coates will officiate. Flowers are welcome.
