DAVID F. CLARK
WEAVERVILLE - David F. Clark, age 80 of Weaverville died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
Mr. Clark was born September 1, 1934 in Platte County, Nebraska and was a resident of Buncombe County for six years. He was a retired bartender, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy. David was preceded in death by his parents, Chester F. and Ethel Douglass Clark and his wife Patsy Clark who died in 2009.
Surviving are his son, Greg Crockett of Eureka, CA; daughters, Cyndi Sherwood of Weaverville and Melissa Crockett of Broomfield, Colo.; grandchildren, Callien Crockett, Chuck Crockett, Brandin Crockett, Simon Klein, Caitlyn Sherwood, Cameron Sherwood and Brianna Crockett along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, Black Mountain.
