DEBBIE BASTON CLARK MARSHALL – Debbie Baston Clark, age 63, of 346 Tillery Branch Rd. went peacefully to be with Jesus Thursday, July 28, 2016 surrounded by her family. Debbie was born December 6, 1952 in Buncombe County and a resident of Marshall for the past several years. Debbie was a retired Insurance Agent. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and canning. She was preceded in death by her parents the late Bernard Baston and Virginia Hunter Baston. Surviving are her husband of 33 years, David Clark; daughters, Shanna Marie Buckner and husband Tim of Asheville, Amanda Ada Griffin and husband Mark of Marshall; sons, Chris Sharp and wife Sachie of Raleigh, Jared Sharp of Memphis, TN; sisters, Judy Coward of Cullowhee, Linda Freidman of Asheville, Robyn Lay and husband Richard of Whitesburg, TN; brother, Bernard Miranda and wife Mary Lou of Somerset, MA; along with 10 grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Drew Mabry and Mr. Don Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
