Dezaree Lynn Spencer

Dezaree “Dez” Lynn Spencer, age 34, of Candler passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Dez was born May 28, 1987, in Buncombe County and was also a resident of Wyoming, Texas as well as Madison County, NC.  She was the daughter of David and Melanie Spencer of Weaverville. She was a 2005 graduate of North Buncombe High School and an employee of Thermo-Fisher.  “Family and friends” were always her motto. 

Surviving in addition to her parents are the love of her life, Cody Blaylock; daughter, Riley Jean Spencer; a sister, Elizabeth; two brothers, Daniel and John. 

Her memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. The family will receive friends following the service.
