Diane Buckner Brigmon

WEAVERVILLE - Diane Lynn Buckner Brigmon, age 58, of 3 Clinton Street died Saturday, December 22, 2012 after a brief illness. Diane was born January 20, 1954 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was a committed supporter of the local Boy Scouts organization and was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in her yard. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Madge Hensley Buckner as well as brothers, David, Buddy and Don Buckner. Surviving are her husband, David Brigmon; daughter, Kimberly White; son, Jack Brigmon; loving sister, Kay Haynes and grandchildren, Tyler White and Clare Brigmon. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Scott Reece officiating. Private burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral service. At other times the family will be at the residence.
