Don M. Wyatt

DON M. WYATT WEAVERVILLE - Don M. Wyatt, age 78, of Weaverville, died on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Mr. Wyatt was born September 9, 1935, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He was employed with Matthews Motors for 21 ½ years and was the owner and operator of Wyatt's Auto Sales. Don never met a stranger. He enjoyed talking and being with people which made him a natural salesman. He loved his family and spending time at Lake Louise visiting with people and the ducks. Don was the son of the late Reuben and Italy Cody Wyatt and was also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Donna Elizabeth Wyatt; brothers, Herschel, Auburn, Oakley, and Truman Wyatt; and sisters, Ava Buckner, and Ruby Ramsey. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Moore Wyatt; daughter, Michelle Wyatt Mrozkowski; grandchildren, Wyatt and Georgia "Gigi" Mrozkowski; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Weaverville, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Jim McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2014 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave. Weaverville. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
