Donna Kay Bowens

MARS HILL—Donna Kay Bowens, age 56, of Mountain View Rd., died Monday, January 21, 2013. Donna Kay was born June 22, 1956, in Buncombe County and was a resident of Madison County for most of her life. She was a lifelong hard worker. She was a daughter of the late Emma Anderson Worley. Surviving are her father, Cleates Worley, and his wife Eva; her son, Chase; sister, Gail Bowens and husband Eddie; brother, Kenneth Worley and his wife Stacey; nieces, Andrea Worley and Teresa Penland; nephew, Bruce Bowens and wife Christy; several great nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Wilma Evans. Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in West Memorial Park with Rev. Billy Murray officiating. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
