DOROTHY ANN CLARK BETHEA WEAVERVILLE – Dorothy Ann Clark Bethea, age 80, of Church Street died Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Mrs. Bethea was born April 4, 1936 in Buncombe County where she lived most of her life. She was a retired school teacher from Buncombe County Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Clark and Velma Coates Dacy. Surviving are her daughter, Caroline Bethea Brigmon and husband Stuart; son, Eddie Bethea and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Rachel McKenzie Bethea, Jonathan Lee and Mollie Abigail Brigmon. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Skip Gillikin officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday prior to the service.
