DOROTHY MAE JOHNSON ASHEVILLE – Dorothy Mae Johnson, age 87 of Asheville went home Monday, March 14, 2016 to be greeted by her husband Titus P. Johnson, other family members and friends. What a celebration! Mrs. Johnson was born December 16, 1928 in Madison County to the late Jonah and Lily Cutshall Johnson. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Metcalf; and son, Donald Johnson, both of Asheville; two sisters; two brothers; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery, 870 New Stock Road, Weaverville, with Reverend Steven Massey officiating.
