EDITH ANN TWEED STYLES
BARNARDSVILLE – Edith Ann Tweed Styles, age 75, of Barnardsville went home to be with her Lord Thursday, March 23, 2017.
Mrs. Styles was born August 31, 1941 to the late Love Joy and Tennie Mace Tweed. She embraced her humble upbringing, in the East Fork Community of Madison County, and enjoyed time spent with family at the Big Knob Tower while her father worked there. She was a 1959 graduate of Mars Hill High School, and retired from Ohio Electric. Mrs. Styles was a faithful member of Barnardsville Baptist Church. She was always reaching out to help people and touched many lives through her thoughtfulness. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Styles, who died in 2007; along with her sisters and their husbands, Erlene and Buford Shook, Nancy Lou and Junior McLaughlin.
Surviving are her daughters, Audrey Wilson and husband Kenny, Anita Morton and husband Chris; grandchildren, Corey, Aaron, Haley and Nate Wilson, Adah and Chloe Morton; and niece, Connie Grubb.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2017, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverends Joseph Willis and Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
