Elizabeth Elaine Suttles

MARSHALL - Elizabeth Elaine Suttles, age 63, of Marshall, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  She lived in Madison County for the past 30 years. 

Beth was a master knitter who won several blue ribbons at the Madison County Fair for her creations. She was also known for her beautiful flower gardens.  She loved to cook and do vegetable gardening.  Beth enjoyed her 45 acres of land- the rivers, creeks and trees.  Her greatest enjoyment, however, was playing with her grandchildren every day. 

Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Frances Elaine Jordan and Edward McNamara.  She is also preceded in death by her son, William Clyde Suttles.

Surviving her are her husband and high school sweetheart of 45 years, Richard Dale Suttles; daughter, Courtenay Alice Elizabeth Garcia and husband, Francisco P. Garcia; son, Caleb Taylor Suttles and wife, DeVanna Gail Suttles; grandchildren, Christian Bratz, Francisco Adrian Garcia, Lily Alice Elizabeth Garcia, Matthew James Garcia and Evelyn Garcia; sister, Deborah Ann Johnson and husband, William M. Johnson; nieces, Lauren DelCollo and husband Justin, and Sarah Johnson; nephew, Christopher Bigelow and wife, Tracy; and five great nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at West Funeral Home.  Family graveside services will be on Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Sky View Memorial Park with Reverend Brad Lindsey officiating.
