ELLA MAE BALLARD SHUFORD WEAVERVILLE - Ella Ballard Shuford, 85, of Weaverville left her loved ones to be with our Lord and Savior May 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chap and Laura Ballard; four sisters, Della Bartlett, Stella Herron, Lucy Cornwell, Mary Gudger; three brothers, Alvin, Albert and Ernest Ballard. Her children that will miss her are her son, Mike and wife Marsha of Cramerton, NC, daughter, Gwen of Charlotte, and son, Mark and wife Teresa of Weaverville. She is also survived by sister, Marie Echols of Hendersonville; three grandsons, Christopher, Andrew and Taylor Shuford; two great granddaughters, Morgan and Ashlynn Shuford; and one great grandson, Preston Shuford, all of whom she loved. A private funeral service will be held at West Memorial Park, Weaverville, with Reverend Jim McCoy officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stanley Total Living Center, P.O.
