Ervin Cline Jordan

WEAVERVILLE - Ervin Cline Jordan, age 85, of Weaverville, died Friday, July 17, 2015. Mr. Jordan was born July 13, 1930 in Haywood County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He was a retired produce manager from A&P Grocery and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a son of the late Lloyd and Irene Mull Jordan and husband of the late Wanda Lee Jordan who died in 2014. Ervin was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Jordan. Surviving are his daughter, Krystal Owenby and husband Shane of Weaverville; son, Mark Jordan of Weaverville; and grandsons, Brandon Jordan and Dorian Owenby. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Weaverville United Methodist Church. Rev. Mitch Wilson and Chaplain Jack Taylor will officiate.
