Eva Sprinkle Banks, age 93, of Weaverville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Mrs. Banks was born on December 14, 1931, in Madison County where she had lived all of her life. She retired from Microswitch in 1993 after 23 years of service and was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Everyone who knew her will remember her as a sweet and loving person who loved Jesus and her family very much. She would always remind her loved ones “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.”
Eva was the daughter of the late Wallace and Elsie Edwards Sprinkle who welcomed her into heaven alongside her brothers, Guy Sprinkle, Don Sprinkle, and Edwin Sprinkle.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Fisher and husband Phil of Swannanoa and their children, Emma and Leah Fisher; and son, Dana Banks of Weaverville.
Burial will take place at Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville.
The family is grateful to her son, Dana for the loving care he provided for Eva during her final years battling dementia.
