Faye Arwood

WEAVERVILLE– Faye Cutshall Arwood, age 89, of Weaverville went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 6, 2018. Mrs. Arwood was born August 5, 1928 in Greene County, TN and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a homemaker that loved her family and enjoyed cooking and canning. Mrs. Arwood took great pride in helping her neighbors. A member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church, she had a beautiful voice and loved gospel music. She was the daughter of the late Ebb and Juanita Cross Cutshall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Arwood who died March 5, 2005; son, Ronnie Arwood; granddaughter, Lois; son-in-law, Alan Scott; along with several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughters, Wilma and husband Rev. Jim Moore, Lena and husband Rev. Zane Edmonds and Betty Scott all of Weaverville; sons, Denver Arwood and wife Darlene of Weaverville and Bobby Arwood and wife Annette and Dewey Arwood all of Rutherford County; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, Weaverville. Reverends Jim Moore and Zane Edmonds will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
