Faye Crawford Bryant

FAYE CRAWFORD BRYANT WEAVERVILLE – Faye Crawford Bryant, age 84, of Weaverville died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace Center. Mrs. Bryant was born January 23, 1932 in Madison County to the late Lonnie Gray Crawford and Bessie Lugenia Hensley Crawford. She was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. A devoted wife and mother, she loved her family dearly and always had a kind word to say to everyone she met. Faye enjoyed traveling with good friends Homer and Margaret Revis as well as her brothers and sisters. She was a member of Woodland Hills Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Paul Bryant, who died in 2015, and sister, Marsha Rogers. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Edwards and husband Scott, Sharon Steele and husband Ken; sons, Eddie Bryant and wife Alice, Greg Bryant and wife Sharon; sisters, Lee Fisher, Shirley Bryant, Alice Jamison and husband Howard, Colene Higgins and husband Alton; brothers, Willie Crawford, Leonard Crawford and wife Louella, Burlan Crawford and wife Arlene, Carlie Crawford and wife Colleen, Steve Crawford and wife Linda; grandchildren, Alesia and husband Chris Whitfield, Tonya and husband Adam Ellwood, Jared and wife Noralynn Gudger, Chad and wife Brittney Steele, Tyler and wife Heather Steele, Amy Steele, Josh Anna, Lacey, and Brittani Bryant, 11 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016, in Newbridge Baptist Church, 199 Elkwood Ave., Asheville, with Reverend Clark Henderson and Norval Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Jupiter Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. The family would like to thank John F.
