Faye Thomas Deaver

WEAVERVILLE - Faye Thomas Deaver, age 86, of Hobson Branch Road died Saturday, June 28, 2014. Mrs. Deaver was born May 7, 1928 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life, to the late Carlos and Harriett Burnette Thomas. She was a member of Forks of Ivy Baptist Church. Faye was married to the late Horace R. Deaver who died in 1998. Surviving are her sons, Bobby Deaver and wife Angie of Hendersonville and Tommy Deaver of Candler; brother, James Thomas of Lawrenceville, GA; grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Deaver of Hendersonville; one niece and one nephew. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the Forks of Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hollifield officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Flowers are welcome.
