Frances Dodd Ramsey

WEAVERVILLE—Frances Dodd Ramsey, age 64, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. Mrs. Ramsey was born November 7, 1948 in Madison County. She retired from Maxine's Embroidery and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She is the daughter of Bertie Mae Allen Dodd of Candler and the late Bascombe Dodd. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Joseph Ramsey and Tim Ramsey both of Weaverville; sister, Athylene Lipe of Candler and brother, Arthur Dodd and wife Beverly of Candler. Mrs. Ramsey's graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
