Frances Thornburg

ALEXANDER - Frances Thornburg, age 92 of Alexander died Friday, March 13, 2015. Miss Thornburg was born August 18, 1922 in White Pine, TN to the late Charlie E. and Grace Ricker Thornburg. She retired from Mills Manufacturing in 1988 after 28 years of service. Frances was a member of Alexander Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Surviving are her brother, Robert Thornburg and several nieces and nephews along with their families. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2015 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Rev. Everett C. Haney, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
